1.  Empowering Your Digital Future

Date: 21st January

Venue: Clarion Hotel Cork, Lapp's Quay, Cork, Ireland

The Marketing Institute of Ireland Cork (in association with Cork Chamber) is organising this event, which will delve into the digital marketing issues that businesses need to account for in order to be ready for 2016 and beyond.

The keynote speaker will be Marie Davis, head of SME Sales for Google Ireland. She will look at the digital marketing landscape in Ireland and at what is emerging in terms of marketing, advertising and sales, with particular emphasis on the challenges and opportunities for SME businesses.

2. Manufacturing and Supply Chain Conference 2016

Date: 26th January

Venus: Citywest Hotel, Dublin

This event has moved from the Aviva stadium to the Citywest Hotel. It is a one day event and is expected to attract over 2000 delegates across Ireland. The theme of this years event is "Creating an innovative Manufacturing and Supply Chain Eco-System". Over 75 speakers are expected to participate. 3. Ireland's Business Strategy Conference

Date: 28th January

Venue: Thomond Park, Limerick

This inaugural conference, organised by Limerick Chamber, aims to provide delegates with insights on best policies and opportunities for economic development, and has assembled an impressive speakers list to do so. The conference’s keynote speaker will be Carl Tannebaum, chief economist of Northern Trust and former VP of the Federal Reserve. Other speakers confirmed include Matt Cooper and Kieran Harte, general manager of Uber Ireland. The event is organised into five sessions, with topics to be covered including ‘sources of future growth’, ‘scaling businesses for international growth’ and ‘driving innovation’.
